Frank Patrick Iaquinto, 86, passed away in his home on Sept. 30, 2023. Iaquinto was well-known throughout the glass industry. He started as a salesperson for Fourco Glass in West Virginia before it was acquired by AFG Industries.
He then helped his sons start Midwest Glass in 1988 in the garage of their family home. He retired from AFG in 1998. Before his time in the glass industry, Iaquinto served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He left the service and graduated from Mexico City University.
Iaquinto was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Iaquinto (2020), and is survived by his children, Michael (Romina) Iaquinto, James (Cynthia) Iaquinto, and Patrick (Laura) Iaquinto; seven grandchildren, Nicholas (Sarah), Anthony (Katie), Phillip (Courtney), Alexandra (Matt), Joseph (Shauna), Alessandro (Meghan), Sofia; and four great-grandchildren, Lilly, Henry, Violet and Lyla; brother Sam Iaquinto; niece Marsia, and nephew John.
Iaquinto supported many charities. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Shriners Hospital, Right to Life of Michigan and The Huron Valley Humane Society.
