For the third consecutive year, Harmon Inc. is in the top spot among glazing and curtainwall contractors. Engineering News-Record (ENR) recently released its “Top 600 Specialty Contractors” list, including the country’s largest revenue-generating glazing and curtainwall firms. Harmon, which placed first in last year’s list of Top 20 Firms in Glazing and Curtainwall, took home the top prize again after it recorded $343 million in total revenue in 2022.

ENR data shows the glazing and curtainwall category ranked 12th of 16 trades in revenue share among all specialty trades included. The sector saw a 1.2% increase over 2021. The electrical category recorded the largest year-to-year jump, increasing by 27.3%.

Overall, 2022 ushered in strong revenue growth for the Top 600 contractors, up 13.3% to $186.4 billion. Median firm revenue also rose 11.2% to $106 million. Of the 530 firms that filed a survey this year and last, 79.4% reported an increase in revenue on the 2023 ranking, up from 66.4% on the 2022 list.
