Apogee Enterprises Inc. has named Brent C. Jewell as president of architectural glass. He succeeds Nick C. Longman, who becomes the company’s architectural framing systems segment president.

Jewell served previously as Apogee’s president of architectural framing systems. He joined the company in 2018 as senior vice president of business development and strategy. Before joining Apogee, he spent seven years at Valspar. He has held several senior-level positions throughout his career, including at NewPage.
“This leadership transition comes two years into the execution of Apogee’s new enterprise strategy, over which time the glass and framing systems segments have achieved significant operational and financial improvements,” says CEO Ty R. Silberhorn. “This transition will align Brent and Nick’s leadership strengths with the business needs of the two segments as we continue to advance our strategy. The move will also allow both leaders to further their professional development, strengthening the company’s talent bench.”
Longman joined Apogee in 2021 as the president of the architectural glass segment. Before joining Apogee, he was the CEO of Harvey Building Products and held leadership roles at Colfax, Rexnord Corporation and Danaher Corp.
