Pulp Studio has appointed Kirk Johnson as CEO. Johnson brings more than 25 years of experience in the glass industry to the role. He joined Pulp Studio in 2016 as a consultant. He formally joined the team in 2018 as executive director of operations.

In his new role, Johnson will supervise operations and strategies. He will report to Lynda Nishimoto Lax, president and founder of Pulp Studio.

“Kirk has played a vital role during his tenure at Pulp Studio,” says Lax. “In his new position as CEO, he will continue to streamline operating procedures and contribute to the growth of the business. We are fortunate to have such an established professional on our team.”

Throughout his career in the glass industry, Johnson has been involved with nearly every aspect of the industry, from cutting, tempering, lamination, insulation, and fabrication to sales and executive roles.

“As the new CEO, I am committed to continuing the visionary course for our company, embracing innovation, fostering a culture of collaboration and empowering our talented team to achieve greatness,” says Johnson. “Together, we will continue to be the go-to company for decorative and technical glass fabrication as we push, and quite literally bend, the limits of our medium to make the impossible possible.”
