Quanex and Advanced Screen Systems Inc. (ASSI) announced they are working together to help distribute and advance commercial and residential window and door screens. ASSI is a Unique Home Designs Inc. subsidiary.
Under the new collaboration, Quanex will fabricate and distribute ASSI’s screen systems and develop new applications to capitalize on what company officials say is a growing demand for high-performance door and window screens.
“By partnering with ASSI, we can offer our customers innovative high-performance screen solutions that meet the growing demand for safety, security and durability in commercial and residential buildings,” says Bob Daniels, Quanex’s president of North American Fenestration.
Quanex officials add that ASSI has established itself as “the leader in this emerging market with proprietary designs” and patented applications.
For ASSI, the collaboration is the perfect opportunity to evolve the screen system market, which includes screens for sliding glass doors, bi-fold glass doors and windows.
