Halio has partnered with Glassbel, a European-based architectural and interior glass manufacturer. Officials say the partnership leverages Glassbel’s experience and network to expand the availability of Halio’s smart glass products.

Officials add that by integrating Halio’s technology with Glassbel’s insulating glass units, more sustainable smart glass can be provided to more European and Middle Eastern customers.

“Our partnership with Glassbel is an exciting milestone for Halio,” says CEO Bruce Sohn. “Their commitment to quality, expertise in glass fabrication, and geographical reach make this an ideal partnership for our customers in Europe and the Middle East.”

Glassbel CEO Dmitri Sobolevski adds that the move is a “game changer” for the industry as the demand for smart glass increases. This is due to its ability to reduce energy costs and a building’s carbon footprint and improve the well-being of building occupants.
