Cardinal Glass Industries Inc.’s custom tempering (CT) operations have consolidated and expanded in the Western U.S. Company officials say Cardinal CT’s planned building expansion in Dixon, Calif., is now complete, expanding the footprint, enhancing the floor layout and adding new equipment.
The move aims to increase capacity, efficiency and productivity. Officials add that these improvements and new equipment investments in Moreno Valley, Calif., and Casa Grande, Ariz., enable Cardinal CT to re-deploy all personnel and equipment from its Los Angeles facility to its three other Western locations.
“Cardinal CT’s strategic investments are delivering results for our valued employees and customers,” says Cardinal CT president Todd French. “This consolidation will strengthen our ability to deliver and sustain the high level of customer service and support we are known for.”
Cardinal CT has multi-line tempering facilities in Northern and Southern California, and its Casa Grande facility houses the company’s newest and largest tempering furnace, which began operations in January 2023.
