According to an Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope® (OBE) organizational announcement sent to employees, C.R. Laurence (CRL) president Arty Feles has resigned, effective immediately. The announcement states that Feles stepped down due to personal circumstances. Officials say the decision is unrelated to the company’s “strategic roadmap, business direction or differences in executing the value creation thesis in OBE.”
OBE CEO Bruno Biasiotta will serve as acting CRL president until a permanent solution is found.
“CRL acknowledges the recent leadership change reported by USGlass magazine,” the company said in a statement. “We will be filling the vacated president role, as well as expanding our CRL management team to support our current business and future acquisitions, which we are actively pursuing. CRL remains steadfastly committed to our customers, our industry and our people who have built our great business. We continue to make investments in our footprint to better serve our customers with a broad portfolio of innovative products and technologies, along with best-in-class lead times and product availability.”
Feles was named CRL president in September 2021. He had previously held the roles of CRL’s chief financial officer (CFO) and regional president of U.S. operations. Before joining CRL, Feles worked for 16 years at Edelbrock Corp., an automotive parts manufacturer, as CFO and vice chairman.

You can be sure that is exactly why he resigned.
Read between the lines of what “officials say”! which president resigns effective immediately?! They kicked him out since he couldn’t lead the company and nobody was willing to work with him.
