Serenity Sliding Doors has expanded into a 41,900-square-foot facility in Colorado Springs, Colo. The new building is roughly three times the size of the company’s previous headquarters.

Company officials say that the new facility will increase production capacity, streamline manufacturing and enable the company to provide more products with reduced lead times.

“The pandemic showed how supply chain issues can put projects at risk when materials and components are delayed,” says president Brian Paul. “Serenity now inventories more components and has increased production capabilities to minimize reliance on external vendors. We made significant investments in leading-edge automated manufacturing equipment to accurately produce finished components in-house while reducing the chance of delays.”

The new facility features advanced manufacturing and material handling equipment and additional in-house product development and testing capabilities that will be implemented later this year. Serenity will also use its new space to offer more hands-on training tools and exercises.
