NEXT Energy Technologies has appointed Brenton Taylor as CEO, replacing Daniel Emmett, who steps into a newly created executive chairman position. Taylor recently served as NEXT’s chief operating officer.
Taylor brings more than 20 years of experience in leadership, scaling manufacturing and commercialization of advanced technology innovations to NEXT from his time at Inogen Inc., which he co-founded.
“As NEXT continues its steady progression, with eyes focused on commercialization and customer deliveries in a range of substantial markets, I am thrilled to take the helm, build on the tremendous accomplishments of the founding team and bring our unique, energy-generating windows to market,” says Taylor. “Onsite renewable energy solutions are in high demand, especially as global entities and regulators push for sustainability. NEXT is methodically preparing to fulfill a steady stream of commercial installation projects with streamlined manufacturing processes on a global level.”
Taylor is also a named inventor on more than 20 patents and brings critical industry experience in licensing and patent litigation.
