Sightline Commercial Solutions

Tiffany Duncan has been appointed vice president of sales at Sightline Commercial Solutions. She is responsible for leading the company’s nationwide sales team and has more than a decade of leadership and sales experience, with stops at Trane Technologies and Johnson Controls. Duncan graduated from the University of Missouri with bachelor’s degrees in political science and history. She also has a master’s degree in marketing from Webster University.

Vitro Architectural Glass

Vitro Architectural Glass has appointed Karina Fuentes as the architectural manager for the Southeast region. She will cover Florida, Georgia and Alabama. In her new role, Fuentes will identify and manage key construction projects in these areas and assist and advise architects through the product selection process.

Obituary

Karl Lenhardt

Karl Lenhardt, founder and managing partner of Lenhardt Maschinenbau GmbH (now Glaston Germany GmbH), has died at 82. Lenhardt was a pioneer in the glass industry, developing the insulating glass manufacturing process for windows and façades. More than 150 patents were ultimately designed based on his developments throughout his career.

Promotions

Crystal Window & Door Systems

Crystal Window & Door Systems has promoted Steven Yu to vice president of sales and marketing. Yu assumes the role following time as regional sales manager. He has been with Crystal for nearly 20 years and will direct sales operations across the U.S. and deliver corporate marketing initiatives in his new role. Yu oversees sales to commercial and residential trade customers behind a team of 36 regional sales managers. He will also direct the company’s marketing department, including new product launches, print communications and customer engagement. Prior to joining Crystal, Yu worked as a website and database application systems developer at Polytechnic University in New York, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science.

Basco Shower Enclosures

As the new east regional sales manager for Basco Shower Enclosures, DeJuan Tribble will lead development and sales management efforts throughout the East Coast. He has been with Basco for more than five years, and has a business degree from Boston College, where he was also a football captain. He also played professionally for the then San Diego Chargers.

Linetec

Tony Pupp was promoted to regional sales manager at Linetec. Pupp is responsible for leading the company’s outside sales team serving specific territories across the U.S. He reports to the vice president of sales, Avi Bar, and has nearly 30 years of experience at Linetec. He most recently managed the North Central sales territory and the field service group.

Tubelite

Tubelite’s Mitchell White was promoted to operations manager of the company’s Dallas location. In his new role, White will work with a 44-person team to produce architectural aluminum storefront, curtainwall and entrance systems. He has been at Tubelite for 10 years, most recently as scheduling supervisor.

New Hires

LuxWall

Jay Phillips is the new chief revenue officer for LuxWall. He assumes the role following time at Masonite Architectural. Phillips has held various positions in the glass industry, including stops at PPG Industries Inc., Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope® and Guardian Industries Corp. He also served as the president of the Glass Association of North America.
