The 32nd China International Glass Industrial Technical Exhibition concluded on Tuesday following three days of networking and product demonstrations. The annual event, which took place at the New International Expo Center in Shanghai, hosted nearly 1,000 manufacturers from 24 countries. Close to 40,000 glass industry professionals attended the show.
Participating companies included LiSEC, Glaston, NSG Group, Dip-Tech, Kuraray, Quanex, Grenzebach, Fenzi Group, and more.
Mike Synon, president of HHH Equipment Resources, says the event was well attended. He adds that while the number of attendees remains high, the number of visitors from the European and American markets has not returned to pre-pandemic levels.
The exhibition’s products covered the whole glass industry chain, including flat glass manufacturing, glass product applications, technical glass, glass deep processing equipment, raw materials and refractories, among others.
Synon says the overall theme throughout the exhibition halls centered around automation for LED glass small part pieces. Also featured were solutions for adjusting and optimizing enterprises’ supply chains and building competitive industrial chain advantages.
“The glass industry has shown here that it has not slowed from a standpoint of our partners all having new equipment or major improvements to their lines,” he says.
