SGC International Inc. has added Diamon-Fusion International’s (DFI) FuseCube Flex 75 glass coating machine to its Los Angeles-based production facility. The move allows SGC to standardize the protective coating application on multiple glass lines.
SGC CEO James Huang says the coating will become standard on the company’s glass railing systems, entrance glass systems and shower doors.
“SGC is a reputable glass distributor in Southern California, and we are thrilled to be working together as we both wholeheartedly believe in standardized value-added while increasing ‘functional aesthetics’ in the architectural landscape,” says Guillermo Seta, DFI’s vice president of business development.
Diamon-Fusion protective coating chemically bonds to glass fillings, which results in an invisible barrier that reduces cleaning times and prevents stains. The coating has no cure time, seals the glass surface and can be applied via automated machinery.
