American Insulated Glass (AIG) has hired Bill Evers to manage the company’s expansion in the Knoxville, Tenn., market. Evers will be the plant manager for the Knoxville fabrication and distribution facility, using his 35 years’ experience in the glass industry. He began his career with Southern Wholesale Glass, learning the glass fabrication business from the ground level and advancing to management. Evers was previously the general manager of Trulite Glass & Aluminum in Knoxville.
Steve Brisbin is also joining the AIG Knoxville team. He will serve in a dual role as sales representative and project manager, handling project work from start to finish for customers served from this new facility. Brisbin brings more than 30 years’ experience in the architectural glass and aluminum industry, with hands-on experience in customer service, estimating, sales and project management. Most recently, he was the sales manager for Trulite Glass & Aluminum, following various sales and service-related positions held with AGC Glass Fabrication.
