Alcoa Names Randall General Manager

Nick Randall has been named the new general manager for Alcoa Architectural Products (AAP), North America.

In his new role, Randall will be responsible for ensuring the continued growth, customer loyalty and employee engagement of the AAP business—including its flagship product, Reynobond, according to the company.

Randall began his career with Alcoa in 2007 when he was appointed quality and continuous improvement manager for Kawneer United Kingdom. He was named operations director a year later, and served in that capacity until 2011, when he was appointed plant manager for the Traco division of Kawneer Company, an Alcoa business and sister company to AAP. Prior to joining Alcoa, Randall served as a lead launch engineer for Jaguar Cars.

“Nick has been instrumental in driving continual improvement across the enterprise,” says Diana Perreiah, president of Alcoa Building & Construction Systems, North America. “As plant manager for Traco, he successfully deployed new safety, environmental and employee retention programs and improved product delivery rates. Under his leadership as the operations director for Kawneer United Kingdom, the plant not only weathered the global downturn of 2009, but it also improved profitability, customer serviceand engagement. We’re looking forward to leveraging Nick’s experience at AAP as we continue to refine and grow our cladding business.”

Randall holds a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering systems from Liverpool John Moores University in Liverpool, England.
