The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) currently is conducting a survey to help it “evaluate and develop a new Energy Star recognition for commercial buildings.”
“We are looking to you, our stakeholders, to help us design a recognition that your organization will value, and that will motivate you to pursue energy-efficient building operations,” writes the EPA in a reminder issued to Energy Star stakeholders to take a survey about the program. “As one of the most well-known and trusted energy efficiency programs in the United States, we want to continue to reward you and your peers for your environmental and cost saving achievements.”
The survey questions address the Energy Star Portfolio Manager, an interactive energy management tool designed to track and assess energy and water consumption across a portfolio of buildings; and use of the Energy Star certification recognition.
The survey response period runs through Thursday, April 25.
