Bonnell Aluminum Commits to Invest $17 Million in Automotive Project

Bonnell Aluminum, a subsidiary of Tredegar Corp., has announced that it will invest $17 million over the next 12 months to fund an expansion project that will include the purchase of a new aluminum extrusion line to serve automotive and light truck original equipment manufacturers.

The line will be placed at the company’s manufacturing facility in Newnan, Ga., and production is slated to begin in early 2014.
